My Favourite vegan-freindly snacks

Need some plant-based snack inspo or just sick of eating the same thing on rotation? Try mixing it up with these nutritious options:

1. Fruit and Nut Butter

Delicious fruit and nutty combo can be a delicious sweet animal-free treat. I love banana and peanut butter with cinnamon, or raspberries and cashew butter with a sprinkle of sea salt. To keep it nutritious, select a nut butter without added sugar, oil or salt.

2. Mashed Avo, Chilli Flakes + Crackers

Healthy fats, a little spice and some vegan crackers make the perfect afternoon hunger-killer. I also love a drizzle of coconut aminos to add that salty kick.

3. Hummus + Cucumber Sticks

is there anything better than blended chickpeas and tahini? Packed with protein and healthy fat – a great addition to a vegan diet!

4. Roasted Chickpeas

I LOVE these. I eat them alone or throw them on soups and salads. Get my favourite recipe in my latest cookbook: Meal Prep Plan

5. Trial Mix

Mix together your favourite brief fruit, nuts and chopped vegan chocolate. Store in 30g serves in portable jars or zip-loc bags ready to throw in your bag!

6. Blueberry + Acai Smoothie

Blend together 1 packet of frozen Acai (unsweetened) with 100g blueberries, 100ml coconut water and 1 tablespoon of natural almond butter. Sprinkle with puffed buckwheat and edible flowers, if you’re feeling fancy,

7. Vegan Chocolate Sea Salt Shake

Blend together banana, sea salt, cacao and vanilla or chocolate plant protein powder for a delicious post-workout snack!

8. Popcorn + Nutritional Yeast

When popcorn is made in an air popper, it can be a highly nutritious vegan snack. Nutritional yeast is a high-quality source of B Vitamins and plant protein too. YAY.

If you have a sweet tooth, www.myvegan.com have a huge rang of delicious vegan snacks and even clear vegan protein and nutritious pantry essentials.
